
Hey everyone this is a simple and quick scarf pattern that I came up with last year. It is called the Misty Rayne Tire Tread Scarf. I hope you enjoy the pattern and possibly make a couple scarves as gifts for

Inscructions:
Materials Used:
Yarn:
Red Heart Super Saver.
(You can choose whatever yarn you want.)
Crochet Hook:
K, 6.5 mm
(Feel free to use any size. The larger the
hook’ the larger the scarf. The smaller the
hook, the smaller the scarf.)
Stitches Used:
Chain Stitch, Double Crochet, Cross Stitch
Scarf Dimensions: 90 inches long x 4 inches wide
Begin:
CH 241
Row 1: DC in 3rd CH from the hook. *DC in each stitch across the chain.* Chain 2 and turn.
(239 stitches).
Row 2: DC in each stitch across. Chain 2 and turn.
Row 3: Cross Stitch row. Skip the 1st DC from the hook, DC in the 2nd DC. Yarn over and DC
into the 1st DC. Repeat till the end. DC in the top of the beginning Chain 2. Chain 2 and turn.
Row 4: Repeat Row 3, repeating the same Cross Stitch Pattern. Chain 2 and turn.
Row 5: DC in each stitch across. DC in the top of the beginning Chain 2.
Row 6: Repeat Row 5. Fasten off.

Thanks for posting this pattern! I hope I'm able to follow your pattern. I learned to crochet by setting, so I haven't a clue how to follow patterns. I did read yours and seems really easy because I know the stitches used except for the cross, but again you wrote it out so simple that I think I can do it!
